I only know a handful of long-distance relationship fics, but I’ll put them here and maybe people will have other suggestions.  Also, check the Military AU recs (since someone is usually deployed) and the CACW Burner Phone Recs, since they are obviously apart there and some have them dealing with a relationship of some kind.

lonely hearts letters. It didn’t matter that Lunk head might be the
Greek god Adonis come to life, Tony didn’t have the time. Trying to
navigate grad school, his parents, Tony did not need a Greek god Lunk
head in his life, nor did he want to write lonely hearts letters to
anyone – least of all some earnest do good soldier.By the end, though, Tony did just that. Write lonely hearts letters to his Adonis lunk head – soon to be Captain – Steve Rogers.
