Tony is Good with Kids

Tony is Good with Kids

Hey, I was wondering if you had any fic recs where Tony is good with kids? Not specifically superfamily or kidfic, but just where Tony encounters kids and is just, great with them. Thank you!!

Hmmm, well, excluding superfamily and kidfic, there are a few I can think of with Tony being good with kids, though fair warning, since I don’t read a lot of kidfic, I’ve probably missed out on a lot of these. Maybe others have suggestions, but here are a few to start you off:

A Little Bit of Action by @musicalluna:

Sam throws a barbecue for his closest friends and, naturally, things get a lot more interesting when Tony Stark shows up.

Light Through Broken Windows by @musicalluna:

Steve overhears a conversation between Tony and Gwen about mistakes, moving on, and forgiving one’s self.

Feels Like Deja Vu by Fangirlingmanaged: Happy knows that he screwed up with the kid, okay. He knows that. So it’s probably best if he just— he should probably just keep his distance. So he doesn’t screw up again.Tony has some objections to that, obviously.

Playdate by therunawaypen:

Harley comes to visit Tony at Avengers Tower. Tony should have told the rest of the Avengers that.

Watch All of You Grow by @navaanwrites:

“They’ll be worthy superheroes because they have you to look up to,” Steve says.

(the more I get to know you) the less I know by @ayapandagirl: Everytime Steve thinks he knows something about Tony, it gets turn on it’s head.akaSam asks Steve to babysit his nephew, Tony gets kidnapped, and everybody learns something new.

Deep in the Heart of Me by @finely-honed: There were days when the realization that he was someone’s father made Steve’s head hurt, but mostly he was grateful that he could trust his instincts, because apparently Peter was what had been missing from his life. Yes, he still had lingering, unresolved issues from his time in the Army, and sure, he had what Bucky annoyingly referred to as a criminally untapped ass, and no life outside of work and Peter, but Steve was okay with how his life had turned out because of trusting his instincts.Unfortunately, those same instincts had straight up betrayed him by going absolutely haywire upon being exposed to Tony Stark.Veteran single dad Steve runs a tattoo shop. For his 40th birthday, Pepper arranges for Tony to get that tattoo he always wanted, and he winds up with the mother of all crushes instead. Jumping out of airplanes is one thing, but falling in love is something else entirely. Steve struggles with the idea of actually letting someone into his life. Tony is left trying to keep his heart from being broken while Steve figures things out.
