That’s an interesting ask!  Honestly, there are some where they are sort of mentioned, but not that many I know of where they play a real part.  However, here are some suggestions:

The Avengers get sent back in time to WWII where they run into the
Howling Commandos… complete with Bucky and Steve. Little hard to
explain that away, especially when you are trying to keep some major
secrets. Secrets like how you ended up in the future and why the hell
Bucky is now a scary (reformed) assassin with a metal arm, not to
mention that you married your friend’s son.

Tony Stark is an experienced adventurer by the time he’s working beside
Captain America and the Howling Commandos… which is why he should have
known better than to pick up the artifact.  Transported into another
universe, he’s going to have to find a way home, even if it means
dealing with these “Avengers” people, some of whom seem awfully familiar…

face.  The visible pain and loss.  It wasn’t right and giving Steve
back everything he’d lost was the right choice.  The right thing.  And

Scientific Heresy by antigrav_vector: In the process of running the particle accelerator in
his basement and fixing the arc reactor, Tony finds himself flung into

Deep in the Heart of Me by @finely-honed: There were days when the realization that he was
someone’s father made Steve’s head hurt, but mostly he was grateful that
he could trust his instincts, because apparently Peter was what had
been missing from his life. Yes, he still had lingering, unresolved
issues from his time in the Army, and sure, he had what Bucky annoyingly
referred to as a criminally untapped ass, and no life outside of work
and Peter, but Steve was okay with how his life had turned out because
of trusting his instincts.Unfortunately, those same instincts had straight up betrayed him by going absolutely haywire upon being exposed to Tony Stark.
Veteran single dad Steve runs a tattoo shop. For his 40th
birthday, Pepper arranges for Tony to get that tattoo he always wanted,
and he winds up with the mother of all crushes instead. Jumping out of
airplanes is one thing, but falling in love is something else entirely.
Steve struggles with the idea of actually letting someone into his life.
Tony is left trying to keep his heart from being broken while Steve
figures things out.

interact with ANYONE in fear of tearing apart the space time continuum.
But nevertheless, he is still able to travel anywhere through time. So,
why does he end up in 1942? And who is that gorgeous woman in those red
dancing heels sitting all alone? And why does she seem so familiar to
him?
