Protective JARVIS/Bots

Protective JARVIS/Bots

Hello, I love your blog so much and blame you for my lack of sleep (I also love all your fics omg). I was wondering if you had any fics with protective!JARVIS/bots, sorta like In Deep Water. Especially if it’s bc Steve/the team don’t know about Tony and accidentally do something that hurts him. Thanks so much!!

Protective Jarvis! Brave Bots!  I love these tropes.  Not many fics focus a lot on this, but here are a few suggestions:

RUN PROGRAM: COMMENTS AND KUDOS!

Crashes you (can’t) Walk Away from by @antigrav-vector:  Tony… is not having a good day.

Fire Extinguishers and Other Deadly Threats by straight_as_a_curly_fry:  Steve and Tony are dating, and the bots decide that Steve needs the shovel talk.

Good for You by @orbingarrow: Steve doesn’t understand why Tony dates people who abuse him. Tony doesn’t understand why Steve cares. The rest is bad choices, good choices, rehab, milkshakes, paintball, YouTube videos, couples therapy and learning to put the past in the past. Or: How Tony finds his happy ending. (not the focus of the fic, but does feature)

A watchful eye by @eirlyssa:  Taking care of SIR was a priority to JARVIS. Unfortunately, the invasion had reduced his well-being to below even the relatively low standards that SIR himself had set. Fortunately, even with privacy protocols making it rather more difficult, JARVIS is resourceful enough to find a solution that should have favorable results.

System ID: J.A.R.V.I.S. by @cptxrogers: It is exceedingly difficult to destroy a complex system which iterates from very simple principles. If even one small part of the system remains, it can rebuild itself. After Civil War, Tony is struggling with heading up the team and dealing with the emotional fallout of being betrayed by those closest to him. Luckily, an old friend is back to help protect Tony and ensure he comes to no harm.A Jarvis lives AU.

Can You Feel My Heart Again by IndigoNight:   Tony has a nightmare and over reacts. The bots worry. And Steve is very stubborn.

450 Feet Under by @veldeia“So. Sitrep,“ Tony said aloud, mainly to keep himself sane. “I’m stuck in a cave with no way to communicate to the outside world that I’m alive, and there’s at least a couple of hundred feet of rock between me and help. The way I came in is definitely blocked, and I’m sporting the most spectacular compound fracture which will no doubt make moving around a bit – interesting. Plan of action… Trying to get out on my own might be a challenge.”Or, cave rescue, Avengers style. Takes place at some non-specific point in time after Iron Man 3 and before Age of Ultron. Established Steve/Tony, though it’s mostly in the background.

wrench in the works by @musicalluna:  Steve hadn’t known how to court someone in 1939 and he sure as hell doesn’t know how to do it in 2014. He’s determined to try though.

Captain America, Lawbreaker by AnonEhouse:  Steve runs afoul of the ‘Tony’s stuff’ law, and becomes a fugitive.

In Deep Water by @itsallavengers: The Avengers want a pool. Tony can arrange that for them. He can. The thought doesn’t fill him with horrible, daunting dread and crippling fear. Not at all.(Or maybe denial does more harm than good)

Tales of the Bots (series) by @scifigrl47: When Tony Stark was seventeen years old, he built his first AI. On that day, he ceased to be his father’s creation, and became a creating force in his own right. That one act likely saved his life, and not always in the most obvious ways.

Run Program: (x) (series) by @everybodyilovedies (Amuly):  Taking care of Tony is a lot of work. Especially when you’ve only got one arm. And your code dates back to the 1980s.
