LONG COMMENTS ARE GREAT, BUT ANYTHING WILL DO!
Liquid Lunch by romanoff: Tony’s turned into a vampire. It’s very sad for everyone involved. Especially Steve. Not just because Tony keeps trying to eat him alive. There are other reasons too.“Just
let me try a little bit,” he pleads “I won’t take all of it, oh, just a
little taste—” He presses his palms flat against the glass and tries to
scrape his teeth down the window “I can, I can control myself,
promise.” And then he turns those eyes on Steve, looks him straight on,
and they’re pleading, and innocent, and really, it’s selfish of him not
to give Tony his blood, why would he not, he can’t see any justifiable
reason, so he just starts rolling up his sleeve and nodding as Tony
salivates into the glass.
Like Coming Home by @missbeckywrites: After a tragic accident, Steve is given a chance to go
back in time and deliver a warning to Tony in the hope of avoiding their
fate. Something’s gone wrong, though, because this is not his world
he’s ended up in. And that is definitely not his Tony who’s planning to
delete his own brain.Sometimes your second chance isn’t at all what you were expecting.
Living on your Breath by @sineala:
The Avengers have faced Onslaught and come home. The team has assembled
again. And Steve is finally together with Tony. They’re in love.
Everything is perfect. But this happiness is all too brief, as Tony is
kidnapped by forces unknown. Steve rushes off to rescue Tony, only to
find that Tony has been brainwashed and turned against him. Now Steve,
captured and tortured by the man he loves, must sacrifice everything he
has to stop Tony from becoming a monster. Their relationship will never
be the same again… if they both get out of here alive.
You’re Not Stubborn (Just Impossible) by @wordsplat:
Steve’s an alpha, Tony’s an omega. Biology should take care of the rest,
right? Except, Tony’s not anything like TV taught Steve omegas were–or
like anyone else Steve’s ever met, actually–and Steve should really
learn to just keep his mouth shut about that. Also, it doesn’t help that
Tony’s not too keen on the idea of alphas. Or Steve. Yeah, this bonding
thing looked a whole lot easier on TV.
Steve Rogers is a Child by @laglemon: Tony gets into fights with Steve all the time and it’s
driving him insane. Sure, he’s not the nicest guy in the world, but all
he did was steal a little of the guy’s sesame seed bagel – he didn’t
deserve to get yelled at for something stupid like that. After
drowning his sorrows in hot chocolate and complaining to Pepper about
what happened, Tony gets a phone call from Natasha telling him to hurry
back home. Something’s happened – Steve has been attacked and he’s not
quite the same man he once was – he’s been turned into a child. With
Steve out of commission, the team struggles with what to do and Tony
finds himself filling roles he had never expected: babysitter and
friend.
Resistance by @thegraytigress (WiP): After being kidnapped during a fight, Tony and Steve
find themselves in a nightmare unlike any other. They’re millions of
miles from home and trapped in an alien labor camp that can only be
described as hell. There’s no chance of being found, no hope of being
rescued, and they’re facing deplorable conditions, vicious guards, and
other prisoners who are sadistic and cruel and just desperate to prey on
them. Again and again they’re told they only have two choices in this
place: work or die. They choose something else. Survival.
Nostalgia by @some-blue-jack (WiP):
“Fuck my life. Why me?” Tony asked.
Blank Space by Verdandi: During a fight with Doom, Steve is hit with a spell
that takes all of his memories from his time as a Super Soldier. The
last thing he remembers is going in for the Project Rebirth experiment.
Now he’s being told it is 80 years later, he’s a Super Soldier called
Captain America, and he leads a team of other super powered people. One
week earlier Tony finally takes the leap and makes a move on Steve. It
works out great and they start dating, without telling anyone. Now Steve
doesn’t even remember ever knowing him and Tony doesn’t know how to
tell the guy from the 1940’s that they are in a relationship.
Upon Waking by @winterstar95:
A story of recovery. In a world without superheroes, Tony Stark, the
disinherited son of a billionaire, goes to Afghanistan as an embedded
media star, only to be held hostage for months until he’s rescued.
During his recovery, his therapist Doctor Bruce Banner prescribes an
unusual treatment; volunteer work at a rehab center. He meets an
eclectic assembled group including a vet who thinks he’s Thor, a
physical therapist who might be a spy, and an all American hero, Steve
Rogers. It is Steve Rogers, the soldier in a coma, who captures his
interest and, eventually, his heart.
Crescendo by @winterstar95:
1949- World War II ended and all the boys came home heroes, except for
Tony Stark. After the war, Tony returned Stateside disgraced because his
plane went down and his father traded secrets with Imperial Japan to
gain his freedom. Once he dreamed of going to Hollywood and becoming a
star, now he’s stuck singing in a club run by Victor von Doom – the same
man he used to (and maybe still does) have a relationship. Victor
protects him when the committee on un-American activities threatens, so
he owes the man his life and his soul. Tony Stark only wants to sing and
forget his worries. But then one day a war hero walks into the club and
starts to ask questions. Steve Rogers with his earnest eyes and his
honest expression draws Tony like a moth to the proverbial flame. But
Steve the war hero has secrets of his own, and when their two worlds
collide – well, it just might be the death of both of them.
Catching Lightning in a Bottle by @sabrecmc: College student Tony meets janitor Steve at MIT and they fall
blissfully in love, until Howard happens and things fall apart. One
divorce paperwork snafu courtesy of the ever-helpful Jarvis, and ten
years later, Tony has to get re-divorced from Steve. This does not go as he imagines.Or, the Sweet Home Alabama AU that no one–well, okay, a few of you–asked for.
